Thats the best word for this ending. It was perfectly fitting yet not something I saw comming at all.
My only issue is that I couldn’t remeber everything that had happened in past books. So as everything came togehter there was some holes in my memory. Forbes did a great job of not making it feel like I had to perfectly remember though. Plus Hays voices tend to stir up memories as soon as the characters make an appearance.
Overall I’m happy to have been introduced to this series. Forbes certainly has a fan for anything he releases and I’ve already listened to most of what Hays records. They are a fantastic match.
