I bought this book based on the amazing reviews, but although it was clever, but no means was it hilariously funny, nor was I entertained bu millions of innocent people dying. Sure, killing monsters is great and all and who doesn’t love a cat protagonist, but this story relies on LOTS of humans dying and I just couldn’t get into being amused by that. I’ll be returning the book and won’t be listening to any more of these.
