No spoilers: Very good story. There were certain elements I wanted to know more of including Lucian’s family history, but it was a very well told story. If it were my choice, I’d have put trigger warnings on certain chapters so I could skip it and just get cliff notes. It got so bad at one point, I had to stop driving unti the chapter was over. However, the romance builds beautifully and slowly, and it’s one of my favorite dark romances. Should I read it again though, I’d skip past those chapters that need trigger warnings. It would be interesting to have a sequel, but overall it was good.
