Sometimes when books are really long you end up wishing the author wasn’t so wordy or repetitive, etc., but not this one. It’s all interesting and good enough to just draw you in and hold your attention. A couple of things bugged me a lot though. Wonderful, helpful school counselor either doesn’t care or doesn’t realize he is sacrificing himself to let loose his psychopath of a wife on everyone in her path. It didn’t fit well with who he was made out to be. Also, the part where the pregnant lady can’t help being so nicey nice that she risks her and her baby to help a psychopathic murderer is just dumb and annoying.
