The story starts with Krak a human/terrifying alien hybrid having to try to protect Gracie Jones and her family from an unknown threat. Lulu is an artistic human who was saved by a terrifying, incredibly rich alien when she was very small. She gets caught up saving Gracie’s daughter. Krak thinks she is involved in the kidnapping plot. It’s sweet and funny but also sad in places. The book ending leads up to a new story. I will see if it is only available in ebooks.
