Man! This was honestly a fresh story of young teen drama. With a story filled with many twists and turns throughout. Loved the immersive DnD comic segments that were done so well and even foreshadowed the overall story.
Jude was an awesome MC, as a fellow nerd/geek, he was relatable to a very concerning degree hahaha! Won me over when I started reading!
I totally recommend this to other looking for a fun, engaging and adorable story about teen love, overcoming insecurities and chasing your dreams. I’m just a huge sucker for a decent romantic.
10/10 for me, very glad to have found this among many of Marissa Meyer’s books. Might give Instant Karma a read next. Heard it’s the first book about Pru and Quint. Dry excited. Hopefully a third book of the Fortuna Beach series comes soon.
