I found that the author was creative and designing the structure of the book The world as it became and the interactions between the humans and the dungeon as well as outside the dungeon looking in. I felt there interactions and relationships were also very creative and in tune with the world that the setup for them. which is almost literally a role playing gama, dungeons & dragons, et al.
but I didn’t like as much was the ability to heal and inventory and so on these are magic items that really didn’t get too much of the backstory as to how they were implemented into humans. this is the first book so it could be in later books we understand more and what the mechanism is.
overall phone book, hard to put down, I will say it was so hard to put down that I was feeling guilty because it’s not in living with my personal or career goals of professional development. it is basically a silly book. but I am enjoying it thoroughly.
