What made the experience of listening to Savage Homecoming the most enjoyable?
Hearing the dialogue between all the characters. Dry humor – reminds me of how I talk to my friends.

The Riyria Chronicles series, Author: Michael J. Sullivan – the banter and character interactions are just as entertaining.
Have you listened to any of Paul Heitsch’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Paul seems to be hitting his stride with the characterizations – they come alive.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really, but the story does ‘move’ along quite nicely. Paced very well with no slow spots.

Another commenter mentioned how they thought the ‘relationship’ portion of the story was a distraction. It’s not – I actually found myself thinking that it was nice to see, since things like that are often ignored or glossed over in stories like this. It was done very well and actually added to the plot dynamics. I’ve really grown fond of this story and this 3rd book does a great job of setting the stage for the next phase of this series. Well done – a very fun adventure thus far. I just bought the next book.
