I got this book not knowing it was a true crime story. I for some reason figured it was a fictional mystery book (I blame the audible cover) but I was sucked in immediately by the story being told.

This is very detailed and I would advise people who are sensitive to details about horrific crimes take caution when listening to this book. The narrator does a great job and performed very well.

The main issue I have with the book is the author does repeat points he made a lot in the book. For example bringing up the same event and the same person’s feelings about the event. For example, at the end for example there is an Epilogue section which discusses where people mentioned in the book are now. He mentions a person’s tradition they do to remember a victim of the perpetrator twice in the same chapter. It happens often enough to give a listener deja vu and might confuse a listener might assume a different event took place when the other is simply repeating himself.

Other than that, this book is great!
