As with most of Ms Smith’s stories, this is an alien romance. The variety, however, in the characters, plots, and relationships makes each one wholly unique.
Jessie is a strong female role model who does not let fear take over when faced with horrible circumstances. She does what is right even when it is hard and she is exhausted and hungry. Wonderful story.
