Although it took me a bit to get into the card game aspect of this floor/book, I listened to it in record time. I want to slow down a bit, give myself time between listens and between books as well, but I just can’t. Mum come pick me up.

During my listen I was thinking about the live-action version of the DCC books, and how this book was gonna be really rough to pull off, not unlike the crab. Jeff Hays was shining as always, and I thoroughly enjoyed the guest voices as well. The first time I heard Patrick Warburton speak, it literally gave me goosebumps.

And now I’m in a weird place emotionally, where I can’t wait to start the next book, but I’m also kind of afraid of it. Can I handle it? Can you?
