Again the voice actors did a phenomenal job becoming the characters.(Still fanning myself over Kai, and that voice?🔥🥵)(I’d listen to him talk any day, all day.) It was beautifully performed and captured the different personalities and dynamics between every. single. character. It was really intriguing to learn so much backstory on every character, made me feel like I was living and experiencing it with them at some points. And the banter was GOLD between em all. I like how the main female was more self reliant in defending herself, compared to the way the first book portrayed her. It was definitely a wild listening journey this one. My rating/review was simply because there was a lot of spicy content. (Nothing is wrong with that. and heck yes if you loved that. I love spice too!) For myself though, it was almost overwhelming and overshadowing the main story. Let me just say, that NOTHING is off limits in this book. Be prepared. 😂😅
