What a wonderful book; narration, the characters, the way the story unfolded. It kept me thoroughly entertained during a long flight to and from Europe. At first I found the epistolary format of the novel a little hard to warm up to. Because I was listening rather than reading, the dates of entries/letters tended to slip past me. Initially it was a bit more difficult to track the passage of time but that was short lived. I quickly became completely engrossed in the story and characters.
