The dungeon keeps getting crazier, but what really stood out to me in this book, is how much heavier it feels. The stakes are higher, the politics are messier, and you can really feel the toll it’s taking on Carl. It’s still hilarious, but there’s more emotional punch this time.
And as always, the narration is unreal. The range, the timing, the voices..it honestly makes the whole experience.
If you’re this far into the series, you won’t be disappointed.
