Why have I put off reading Lily Harlem? I’m seriously kicking myself, because I really, truly enjoyed this. It’s sensual, funny, a tease, and hugely entertaining!

Lady Elizabeth “Beth” Burghley and Thomas “Tom” Kilead, Duke of Farrington, both suffer from not correcting a case of mistaken identity. I really like the story unfolds and how they came to be acquainted before Beth is sandbagged into going to Scotland with him. 😂❤️🥵

I do wish there was more of this couple once they found the beginning of their HEA. It’s hard to say goodbye while wanting, needing so much more.

I received an author’s copy of the audio book. The narrator is Mary Phillips, who is an absolute delight to listen to. Be it breathless, annoyed, from a distance, or ready to rock someone’s world, she pulls it all off and had me feeling the excitement, exasperation, and more as the pages flew by. I look forward to listening to another of her narrations.

I rarely give out a full, unadulterated 5-star rating for narration, especially for a single narrator, but Mary earned it!
