I couldn’t even make it through the first few chapters because the male narrator’s voice was unbearable. It honestly sounded robotic and lifeless, almost like an AI trying to mimic emotion but completely missing the mark. The pacing was awful and he paused for so long between words that it felt like he had never read out loud before. It was distracting, irritating, and completely pulled me out of the story.
I’m genuinely frustrated because this audiobook came so highly recommended, and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the narration was so grating that I couldn’t finish it. I feel like I completely wasted a credit, and I’m honestly angry about it.
