If you’re looking for DCC this isn’t it. While pacing was an issue sometimes I think the book broke part of me in the best way. I feel the pacing of the book mimics life in some way. Sometimes it’s not all action sometimes it’s the anticipation, the waiting the lulls. It was perfect and wasn’t what I was expecting but def something I’m really glad I read through and didn’t DNF. The narrator was great.
