This is not a typical love story. But a start to a series that proves to bring more to table. This is my first C.F. White story. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but man oh man, what a ride. Be aware this book does not end with a HEA but leaves you wanting more and waiting on bated breath. This is also my first Piers Ryman narration. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first but boy did, I really settle in for the story and caught myself backing up to make sure I didn’t miss anything!
