I’m writing this during chapter 8 out of sheer frustration with how idiotic the plot is. The story anchors itself in pseudoreality but the author is so ignorant of the law that a major plot point is so monstrously stupid that I need to switch to a different book to prevent brain damage. If I’m able to suffer through the remainder of the book I will update this review with hopefully a higher rating. The writing isn’t bad in general but the plot is just a middle school level interpretation of evil lawyer powers. it’s seriously offensively stupid; like it insults the reader to assume they would go along with it. I recommend just skipping chapter 8 and you’ll probably enjoy the book more. Narration is A+
