Mr. Dinniman lucked-out so hard with landing such a talented voice actor to narrate his works. I can’t say enough good things about the voice acting.
The writing is: actually quite good, bordering on great. Perfect mixture of character attachment, story development, and witty comments that cracked me up. Thanks for all the unexpected laughs.
Number one thing that holds this series above others is the perfect mixture of character development with story. Every other LITG book I’ve suffered through focusses WAY too much on their character development and making their main character WAY too overpowered. Thanks to Mr. Dinniman for not replicating this horrible trope. I love the way that the character’s personalities take more of a centerpoint, because every story needs to be about characters. I fell in love with them throughout the series.
I’m writing this already having listened to all seven books, and I’m saying “get this shit!” Best LITG books ever, only rivaled by Robert Bevan.
