I feel its important to read the first book in order to understand fully. I did not and have no clue who these people are or what’s going on at the beginning but after a few chapters I catch up and get into the mystery and suspense. And its really good. Kenny is a phsycololgy professor and helping work on a murder case. .Aaron is the perfect little brat. You cant help but love him though. There are so many twists and turns you cant help but be sucked in and want to keep listening to see what the heck is going on.
The narration is great. I loved the tone. I love the deep voice of the narrator andvthe singing of the song.I recommend the audio if you can.
If you like dark crime romance, mystery, mental health, dark college romance, professor/ student, age gap you will love this.
