Unlike the other stories by Ms Mayer, this was underwhelming. I could not finish it. I abandoned it half way through. The narrator did not emote well w the characters and also helped me jump ship.

i liked the idea, but it’s just so drawn out, halfway through the 1st book and I can’t get into it.

Was it the best book I’ve ever read? No. Was it cool? Sure. Dark romance that really isn’t that dark. Felt like I was reading a knock of 50 shades of grey

Man this book was terrible. Terrible pacing, phrases/sentences used over and over, main character stupid and boring. At least half this book could have been cut out – it added nothing to the story. I laughed so hard when I saw that it’s the first in a series of four.

This story is absolutely fantastic and portrays their love story phenomenally!! The only thing I don’t like is when voice actors try to portray the other gender (Male doing females voice and vice versa)! Other than that I have 0 complaints about this book!! 100/10 recommend!

Writing wasn’t that great. Have the physical book and the dialogue was just “who would say that to someone they barely know?” Got the audiobook so I could finish. The voice acting was not good the bad writing definitely didn’t help. Will not be getting the second book.

I couldn’t finish. After listening for an hour I realized that I had listened to this book before. After 2 hours, I remembered that I hadnt finished it the first time around.
