Chapter 28, around 8:15 there is a weird knocking sound that cuts off the narrator.

How is this a good read half the time I wanted to kill him and buy her a backbone.

I loved the the idea of the box but I think the plot is stretched out too much it could have been better if it was one whole book but still enjoyable nonetheless

I was invested from the beginning. I didn’t like the female voice. She sounded like she was whining

I was hopeful but this story was so corny I couldn’t finish it. It seemed very contrived and the writing was less than stellar

Just couldn’t get into it. I was hoping the story would get better, BUUUUUUT it didn’t. Wish I’d enjoyed it more!

Some good parts but overall, super boring. I really wanted to like this book because I had heard some good things but it was kind of a snore fest.

I got 2hrs in and just got bored. Story wasn’t grabbing me. Main character wasn’t asking enough questions or fighting back. I dnf.

The characters are interesting and made better by the narrator but the story is ridiculous. More to the point the writing is bad. it reads like a college assignment that requires the student to use as many archaic, over blown, excessive words as possible.
