First book I ever DNF. The plot is recycled from many books I’ve read before, and the pacing is awful. There are many time/setting jumps with no explanation. The writing felt lazy as well. Though there may have been a good ending, I will never know. So mad I wasted my credit on this.

if the entire book was narrated by hayden’s voice actor i would have enjoyed it more.calista and harper’s (or heather? idk her best friends name) dialogue and voice actor was cringeworthy and irritating.calista’s voice actor had a weird tone or cadence or inflection (i can’t tell which) but i hated how she sounded.

It was okay but honestly I don’t care enough to read the second one. I’m sure a lot of my questions would be answered in the second book but this just wasn’t it for me. 🤷🏼♀️
I enjoyed parts of this book, but the h was hard to deal with. She blamed the H for withholding information that honestly had nothing to do with their relationship. I’m not a fan of books that makeup a problem in order to tell the story. I think it the author would have avoided creating..

It just kept repeating and dragging on. the Characters were saying the same thing durning their chapters and no build up to the relationship. The FC kept saying one thing and doing the complete opposite. And the plot lines were reused. Had to force myself to finish it thinking it would get better but unfortunately..

This is the exact same boom, it just starts off after the stalking and falling in love part. Definitely not worth the money of buying it. If you’ve read the first book, you’ve read this book. I’m very disappointed. I waited months for this book.
