I have loved this series from the beginning and am extremely disappointed with this book. The AI narration is robotic and completely lacking in emotion. After a few minutes I was ready to stop listening and return the book.

If you’re wanting a watered down version of Haunting Adeline this is it (kinda). The 🌶️ scenes weren’t too graphic and came mostly at the end of the book. The story didn’t make much sense and the main character wasn’t dynamic at all.

I’m 5 chapters in I have no idea what is going on. The characters are shallow and the story is worse. I can deal with the feathered people the tentacle people or whatever the characters are but there is no storyline I can find. The narrator seems overly glib.
