The best part of this story was the aunts. The female was way too whiny. The female narrator was cringy. Very disappointed in the story

no part two this story really needs a part two with the aunties getting in trouble

Awful .Kept waiting for it to get better.. hot mess like the characters .I assume there was an agenda or do?

I’d recommend A Dirty Business, A Cruel Arrangement is a must but personally I’d pass on this one.

Storyline was all over the place – def won’t read the rest of the series – very far fetched.

A mafia story you haven’t heard before. So many broken hearts and misunderstandings until you get to the HEA.

I didn’t like that when the female narrator was reading, she used a masculine voice for Hayden’s parts. I feel like those sections would have been better suited for the male narrator to maintain consistency and make the listening experience more natural.

Uncomfortable male narration. Normally the narration brings the character to life, but unfortunately, this narrator’s odd whispers makes it uncomfortable and creepy to listen to. I ended up switching from the audio book to the physical copy book because it was so creepy to listen to his narration.

I really struggled with this possessive relationship. The more I listened the more I disliked the FMC and MMC. Maybe because I simply could not relate or find any of it desirable. Personal preference. This was a rough read and it was 4hrs at 1.7.

I had to spread it up because of how slow/ how many sentence breaks there was.
