Storyline was amazing and the narrators complement each other so well. you can really see how the story plays out in your head as they read it to you.
I loved the series I’m just disappointed with the ending that’s why the 4 stars. I have listened to the audiobook in tandem with the book and must say the narration was on point and I can definitely recommend it.
I like that as you read the series you learnt more about characters, and was a book that kept my interest
It was so stupid. The troupe was bad, it was drawn out and long overly discrptive knock of haunting Adeline but awfully done
Performance was good, it’d listen to these two again. But the story started out good, but dragged on. Not much spice until the end, the FMC gets annoying and is kind of dumb. I spent most of the book muttering “it’s him, at least suspect him dummy.”
it’s a dark romance that shows that when you are truly in love it can take you over and you can look past everything else
3rd in the series and it does stand alone well. We get some interaction with extended family (found and blood) in Louisiana that come from the greater shares universe of Erin Nicolle/Erin Nicholas and I absolutely love seeing that crowd. It makes me want to binge Erin’s bayou backlist. Cian has been hunting for Scarlett..
I really enjoyed this series. I found myself becoming attached to these characters more with each book. The story was interesting and full of twists and turns. The narration was outstanding!!
