The first book was a little slow but I must say this book was definitely better. Some of my questions were answered in this book. But I still have a lot more now. Please give this series a chance you wouldn’t be disappointed. I have listened to the audiobook and the narrator brings this story to..
This is an excellent story with great characters and lots of excitement and action. Jade and Considine’s interactions with each other and the other characters create a wonderful story.
So, I’ll start by saying this isn’t the usual kind of book I read. But I’m glad I did! It was a great story with interesting characters that you get to grow with throughout the entire thing. There are definitely some darker aspects of the story, but not so much that it’ll bring your mood..
This is a great fantasy series that checks a lot of the boxes for those who love the genre. The story draws you in very quickly and keeps you on the line until the very end. There are twists and turns that not even I was able to see coming. The audiobook is narrated perfectly..

My first urban fantasy. Which was strange at first but it was so subtle that it wasn’t overwhelming. So good for story, plot, characters & spice, etc.. I throughly enjoyed it. Used whispersync on my kindle app & Amelia Hugh did amazing at bringing the story to life.
Could not get into this book. The audio itself is horrible. Wished I could get my credits back for this one
