This is the second book in a three-part series. It is full of twists and turns, excitement and sadness. The story is fully developed with characters that are believable, complex and “real”. It is a time travel story that starts in present time, but abruptly brings the reader to the 18th century following a plane..

to start, i received this audio book at no charge in return for a fair and honest review…Positives… the story line is fantastic.. the characters are great and as a second in the series, it was a well written continuation..negative… i am not a fan of the narrator’s delivery… probably a personal preference.

I’m not really sure what happened with this book. I have read several books by Ms. Hunter and have really enjoyed them, but this one just could not hold my interest. I started listening on audio and I must have had to restart, or rewind more times than I could count. I even fell asleep..
