Beautifully written character study of an aging Holmes who realizes he must grapple with the life changes we all recognize eventually. This author has done a fantastic job to relay the story of Sherlock Holmes in America. I’ve LOVED every one of his books. The narrator is great. I was able to easily identify each of the characters based on the reader.
it was OK. it could easily have been reduced several chapters in length by deleting the sensationalism intended to build suspense. Instead of suspense, I feels it builds annoyance. The story overall is fine but it is too long winded for its own good at times.
Larry Millett continues the Sherlock Holmes tradition with aplomb. I liked the narrator and storyline.
I like everything about Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. I especially like how Larry Millett continues the extraordinary reasoning abilities of Holmes.
