I love this series so far! The moment I finish a book I can’t wait to start the next one. It’s predictable yet gives just enough suspense and hints of romance to keep it intriguing and you wanting more!
This picks up where the first book left off and then simmers before taking off again. It really felt like a bit of a reverse narative arch in my opinion. Book two starts with some exciting parts and then kind of slows down simmers… then it picks up and ends rather abruptly. Their is great..

It took me to chapter 4 to become invested in the story, but it was worth it in the end. The story has a lot of character thinking vs action. Toward the end, it picked up. I received a free code from Story Origin, but this is my own opinion and review.
