It took a moment for the story to come around for me but the ending was amazing. As for the performance I loved the female narrator. However, the male narrator didn’t work for me. It didn’t seem to match the character for me.

The story plot was interesting. Could have had better story telling. Never really felt like the book climaxed. Overall just kinda meh.. don’t think I’ll read the rest of the series. One of those that had good potential but just didn’t deliver.

Love the detail & all the different voices. Made it a great listen. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

It was tough to read but I admired how she shed light on domestic abuse. I enjoyed how she showed strength breaking away from her brother and finding herself.

A lot of times you either get spicy or a really great plot but this book has both and the performers were really amazing. I am really impressed by this author and I’m going to be reading/ listening to more their books.

This is such a good story. Characters are very well thought out and everything flows. Highly recommend of you want to read a mafia romance to start that type of trope
