This is a fantastic collection of stories. They’re all different but have a common thread of unsettling eeriness running through them. I found it curious that two of the stories dealt with murderous snails and after a quick search discovered that Patricia Highsmith kept snails as a pet. A perfect fit for this collection.

A somewhat quick paced fantasy. Enjoyable, though less developed than I prefer from such tales. I might just continue this series.

I miss the end of the story and will be miserable for a long spell as if losing something of myself feeling much as she did for ending the story as explained within. Pete Nealen delivers once again. This book begins to pull together the seeming separate events of the 1st 3 books, and hints at the darker elements at work. This book absolutely kept my attention and I’m looking forward to the next one. Keep up the good work, Pete!
