Imaginative story built around the title which, says it all. This is better if you go with the story line.
I bought this book originally as part of the Kickstarter and enjoyed it immensely. The progenitor of Traveller weaves a tale of political, intrigue and necessity. In fact, when I found out that the book was published in the mainstream, I bought the audiobook again, so I could listen to it in the Audible reader.
Good balance and not too much random nonsensical sex. Story holds you well enough. Excited to start book 2
I was hoping for more spicy fun with a good plot. this has neither. it’s like a teenage boy whose never gotten laid wrote it. no imagination. nothing to like about the protagonist. author didn’t even try to make the big boss challenging. I literally fell asleep twice.
I enjoyed this series. Most characters were well written and entertaining. one could see how these characters grew and matured. Narrator did a good job. I look forward to reading more stories from this author.
The backstories in novels like these can sometimes get a bit tiresome, but in this case, the Vietnam veteran backstory is truly compelling. Really enjoyed the story and plot lines, and the narrator was excellent.
I am loving it. The story is brought to life with great characters and a different take on this apocalyptic plot. I just wish they did not make Tabatha so immature in this book. In the first few books they build her character as a strong, resourceful young woman about 19 years old college bound…
