Imaginative story built around the title which, says it all. This is better if you go with the story line.
I bought this book originally as part of the Kickstarter and enjoyed it immensely. The progenitor of Traveller weaves a tale of political, intrigue and necessity. In fact, when I found out that the book was published in the mainstream, I bought the audiobook again, so I could listen to it in the Audible reader.
Good balance and not too much random nonsensical sex. Story holds you well enough. Excited to start book 2
I was hoping for more spicy fun with a good plot. this has neither. it’s like a teenage boy whose never gotten laid wrote it. no imagination. nothing to like about the protagonist. author didn’t even try to make the big boss challenging. I literally fell asleep twice.
I enjoyed this series. Most characters were well written and entertaining. one could see how these characters grew and matured. Narrator did a good job. I look forward to reading more stories from this author.
The backstories in novels like these can sometimes get a bit tiresome, but in this case, the Vietnam veteran backstory is truly compelling. Really enjoyed the story and plot lines, and the narrator was excellent.
I am loving it. The story is brought to life with great characters and a different take on this apocalyptic plot. I just wish they did not make Tabatha so immature in this book. In the first few books they build her character as a strong, resourceful young woman about 19 years old college bound…
I really enjoyed this book and narration. I did confused with some of the government hierarchy dialog but that’s just me. I would definitely listen to another audiobook from this author and narrator.
What the bleep is going on? How can you possibly explain everyone just vanishing, except for clothing and jewelry. OMG, I am hooked, need answers. what’s next?
