Overall a good series. A bit different than the usual espionage/thriller type books out there. I think a different narrator would’ve done this series better than the one used. Not that he did a bad job – at least it wasn’t AI voice garbage – but someone who can actually do different voices of characters..

This is truth laid out like a lawyer with proof and evidence. The narrator spoke really fast and all audiences are not familiar with crime and Billionaire criminals, and all the terms.

Highsmith’s style is excellent as usual. I found it a bit lethargic in pace and plot but in the spirit of nihilism, what does it matter

I had a really hard time getting into this book because the narrator goes from normal to SHOUTING frequently. If I had the volume at a normal level, the sudden shouting volume would make me jump and hurt my ears. It was ridiculous. I lowered the volume so I could barely hear the regular volume..
