Great insight with a sense of humor. I would recommend this audio book to everyone, including LEO’s and first responders. Great book.
I enjoy military and political fiction. While this is certainly fiction I am afraid it is more fantasy. I found the story shockingly void of any literary elements. No character development,. Even the protagonist was lacking in any history or development. Based on the narrative it is difficult to even consider him a protaganist let..
This is a fact-laden outline of greed, graft, and corruption in the U.S. and specifically the right wing. While very convincing, it doesn’t talk at all about what might be done to combat the culture of lies. It left me feeling pretty hopeless.
excellent well told story of the rightwing fantasy world that has been built by grift for grift and how it has undermined, poisoned, and sabotaged American democracy subverted government to private self serving interest and the big lie that excuses it all
This mans storied career in law enforcement is a fascinating look behind the scenes of organized terrorist. His undercover work placed him in grave danger not only from the bad guys but also from those looking to make a name for themselves within the NYPD.This book and its telling, would translate into a very exciting movie..
I loved the character development and the very complex geological and political story. Greedy and honorable public servants fighting.
Great reader, once again. The action and intrigue just keeps coming, and with how Pete writes, things never get dull. I’m really looking forward to book 6.
A masterclass on the Elements, and truly inspired to drive the reader into a space of really understanding and working with Them! I can’t say enough good things. The narrator is hard to follow because his voice feels monotone and drones on in a way that makes it hard to focus. Still worth the listen!!!
