First book started okay. The remaining books were unsatisfactory. The remaining books seemed to be written by a high schooler.

the story is great, but for so much Japanese influence and Japanese words used, they should have had someone familiar with Japanese read it.

I don’t want read about Queers. I find it offensive. When I pay for content.

Loved this book so much. I wouldn’t recommended the audio, especially if you are familiar with Asian languages. The Japanese in this book is SLAUGHTERED. If that’s not a problem for you, then the narration was fine.

Hated the monsters and poor dialogue. Narrator was terrible. I could barely get past the first few chapters let alone 59 hours!

A climatic buildup ends at midpoint and the rest is a sleeper. This book is way overrated for sure.

so many f bombs and curse words i get it if it’s an intense situation but it’s like these guys are boys the way they act is like kindergartens. I mean it’s like each guy is pulling out their d*cks seeing who’s got the bigger one. this is one of the worst apocalypse books ever.

I really struggled with this story during the entire wind battle section. Magic systems just sort of showed up (when was I supposed to have known about the blood bending ability? Maybe this is a funny story, but I can’t tell because the narrator has ONE VOICE and only that one voice. EVERYTHING is said in that one voice. I can’t tell who is talking. Everyone sounds exactly the same. It’s not funny because I never know who is talking.

Too slow for me…. Details upon details about the road, landscape, packing a vehicle, holstering a gun… but almost no action. I wanted to stick around but I just can’t. Need more action for me, life is too short.
