After listening for a bit I got so pissed off I just had to stop listening. Trying to find out how to return this crap now.

Narrator cadence was weird. Setting was not what I was expecting -> did not expect smartphones, tvs and fighter jets

It’s an amazing story line sucks you in to where you cant pause it,and is action packed.Overall amazing.

I don’t think even a decent narrator could have made this any good… did the author use a comma every fifth word?

Slow start and predictable actions taken by John. The characters feel shallow and bland. I’m 4 hours in and don’t think I can finish. Waste of a credit sadly.

I think this book would’ve easily been a four star+ but the narrator was so bland and one dimensional. All the characters sounded the same he only had one tone of voice and one emotion. Also it’s a pet peeve when fantasy authors make up words to replace others (or in this case, use foreign..

The story had very little pull, all the characters feels barren and hallow. The story felt nothing more than just checking boxes off on a list of events.

worst book EVER, If I could give it less then 1 star I would. Just garbage

Boring,the story is 😒.The narrator couldn’t engage with the characters. Some elements of the story don’t fit real science.

This is terrible. Every person in this story appears to be an idiot. They prove it time and time again.
