Title says it all. Just painful, not awful but painful. I went in expecting little yet was disappointed.
Definitely not for me, I found this series extremely boring and skipped through a lot of it. New type of monster for an apocalypse series, monsters from the depths of the earth. Reminded me of an attempt of a ripoff from Riddick movies
Too simple and superficial to hold my interest. Not much in way of story or character development. Narration was mediocre at best.
Interesting story line but the narrator was over the top in drama. I moved on to a different author because the narration was so annoying. I may just read another of Greyson’s books and skip the audio.
I’ve never listened to a book where every single character whined. Not good. I like the Apocalyptic genre, but this doesn’t come close.
full of criminal Justice errors. written for young readers. whiny tone and unbelievable syntaxes. sigh
It was bloody and boring. I thought any potential of storyline was lost in all the blood. or what do you do with a 69 million old dinosaur tied down on a ship in the middle of the ocean. You lose a chance to become Jurasssic Park for lack of a storyline.
The story is not really engaging. A lot of time was spent on what might happen instead of what was happening. Did not care for reader’s intonations, accents, pacing. Not interested in continuing series.
blurred the rightous acts of good men and the poor leadership of a king. Tried to make good look bad and bad look good.
Andrew, while a talented narrator, just does not have the voice to do theses characters justice. This caused me to struggle to continue listening at first. Soon the story drew me in and despite the struggle with the voice to character flaws, I have purchased the next book in the series and am anxious to..
