I’m still planning on reading the last book of the series. I just have to know how it ends.
I get it, Magical Misfits pack
Review from My Mongrel Pack →
This one hits all the right notes. It balances the lit and the RPG factors perfectly. The characters are well defined and likeable and they have good chemistry. The story is engaging from the get go. The narrator is very good, and I especially love his announcer voice when he reads the notifications from the..
There is a good story and nice moments and scenes; but unless this is the first book of something bigger, or part of a universe with other books I don’t know of, there are parts that fill like filling. There is also a rythm Issue. Sometimes it felt awesome, but another ones it felt needlessly..
Parts of the story are absurd, sad, humorous, and showed supportive friendships. I feel like this has too much cliff hanger but I really like the author so I will read the rest of the series.
I really love his stories. They’re easy to listen to. They’re age friendly, and they keep you engaged.
The book had no true ending. The narration by Andrew Tell was excellent. He is one of my favorite post apocalyptic narrators. We were left with so many unanswered questions. It ended with us never knowing whether they made it to a safe place , did Jessica have permanent sight problems .
again. so bad. its like the author is a divorced dad writing his dream scenario in which he fabricated a military experience and everything always works out. its free but still so bad. im like hate listening to it.
I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I’m heading straight to read the next book as soon as I finish the review. Highly recommend
