Good story, interesting plot twists but so many unresolved story lines. Reads like part of a series of books but can’t find any series listed on audible site. It’s still a good listen and well narated

The story would have been a lot better if every single little detail weren’t described, sometimes 2 or 3 times in different ways, and sometimes in the middle of an action ‘scene’, moving your focus off what’s happening.

Really well written, with MCs making choices that make sense for their ages and experience. Good voice. My only complaint is that the end felt a bit rushed & not all of the MCs school friend stories tied in well.

I had a wonderful time listening to this story. Not a minute of boredom, not one cliché found in similar books. It reminded me of no other story, being completely original on its own. I will certainly give for a second listen in a few weeks or months, glad to have it in my Audible..

I like the story and performance but audible won’t play them in order automatically

The introduction of “mosters” made the story too sci-fi for my taste. The author’s intentional non-use of other profanity was very distracting with the awkward language chosen: “You really saved my bacon”. then in the last book had a few uses of profanity that actually fit the characters personality.
