a good intro to the world and litrpg mechanics , only reason not a 5 is the game stats sometimes take up to much of each chapter when they could just state the updates over the entire character sheet

I honestly don’t know how it’s possible that real human beings have rated this a 4.4 on audible, 4.6 on amazon, and 4.2 on goodreads. I was somehow able to hate read this to 33 out of 45 chapters and I’m still trying to figure out where the humor is in this supposedly hilarious novel…
good first half, underwhelming 2nd half (understatement).

I loved Mamoru. I hared what they did with him. The entire ending of this book is confusing as to WHY it was included. the entire Robin ending is uneeded. Felt like the author was trying to lead into a book that they never intended to actually right. Frustrating — a book with so much..
I will admit I was drawn in by the cover art and the cutesie titles. The book itself was ok, narration fine, but the entirety of it was just underwhelming, which is why I classify it as a good book for folks that don’t know anything about LitRPG. The determining factor for me to continue..
