I liked the overall story it got really good towards the end, Great character building but also feels very slow in the middle of the story. Felt like a one shot story but it was left with a lot of unanswered questions leaving it open to other books hopefully we get a sequel.
Another fantastic book on the Jericho rez by T.G. Brown. Fast paced and full of twists yet adds depth to the main character without slowing down the storyline. I don’t think that Jericho Tribal PD is going to see many straight forward, single faceted crimes or criminals. I find myself rooting for the good guys..

This series always impresses me. From the fight scenes to the world building its all amazing 5 stars all the way.
I really liked this story, however, the main narrator read it like he was reading to elementary kids. This is an adult themed story and it was hard to keep that in mind as his lilting voice kept making it sound like a kids book.
I Read The Sword of Kaigen as part of an online fantasy book club. It’s a book that I wouldn’t have picked up on my own, but I’m grateful I was encouraged to read it. It’s also a book that when I finished it, my first thought were how do I even write a review..
The story is good. It flows from event to event in an ever growing fashion. Has the general feeling of setting up for future books with intrigue and mystery.
