and I mean WEPT. This book is straight up dangerous if you are a woman, married 15 years and have a 12-14 year old son. I’m not sure if this WAS therapy or will send me to therapy.

For the first 2/3 of this book, it’s great. Loads of interesting world building, some major events/plot twists. One REALLY good line. Then… nothing happens for the entire remaining 30 % of the book. Literally nothing. It kind of sets up for a new storyline, then it just ends. No resolution. No sequel. Nothing.
It’s hard to describe this epic tale of magic, love, family and war. Its world building was flawless and the characters were so well written. Any story that can give you all the feels is what reading is all about. Loved it. Hope to read more from this author!
