The MC is likable and the rpg system isn’t bloated like The Land series.

the story flowed well and the progression was fun to listen to. if there was anything that could use some work it’s the interpersonal relationships getting expanded. with that said he had his reasons to be standoffish with others end of the world and all

The story is very good. However, the combination of stilted language and grammatical mistakes detracts from the listener’s ability to remain immersed.

Wish the book was longer or a series so I could return to these amazing characters

The protagonist of this book is way too emotional. Having lived in an environment where survival is your only goal, you don’t sit around crying all the time talking about your emotions. It’s tiresome.

There was a lot of talk about feelings and the MC upset about his own feelings. It was good and hopefully it finds its stride

I really enjoyed this series and the setting, characters, and believable events. I usually look for a package series purchase on Audible because a 6 hour book does nothing for me. Loved it, never lost interest, and have already purchased another book series from this author.
