Such a moving story. Wouldn’t change a thing. Loved the different perspectives. Not many authors can do what Wang did and keep the reader going. The story just got better and better as you read.

The whole book was educational it filled out the personality of Washington and Franklin. It made the fight for independence real exceptional book!

Narration and storyline was great, easy to follow. Wasn’t super crazy with the stat. There are some litrpg that will fill several chapters with just character status pages. Kept me very immersed in the world he was building. I will personally be listening to the entire series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story doesn’t fall victim to typical tropes. It was beautifully done and characters experienced a welcome amount of growth. Was slow to get started, but spends a lot more time character building than world building. Once you embrace that it’s a fantastic read

I’m a huge fan of fantasy and I’m thrilled to have discovered this one. Its focus on characters has been a wonderful surprise and in its complexity, I think multiple characters could have been the protagonist. It’s well written with an excellent performance from the narrator.

Loved this story, but had to stop the audible and read the ebook because the narrator wasn’t my favorite. I wish they would have selected a narrator who spoke Japanese fluently. I live in Japan and hearing some of the Japanese words spoken awkwardly was a little frustrating. I’m sure Andrew is a great narrator,..

Predictable. All male characters are weak, flawed, and lack a reason for being. Regret buying multiple books.

So glad I’m not left hanging till the next book comes out. Great story you won’t be sorry reading it.
