Had a twist in the story mid way but keep going great character development. Wish they had more on this story line as they continue to grow and evolve

I loved every chapter of this book, I was so disappointed when I found out that it was discontinued šš. It left me in an emotional disarray!

I tried with this one but I canāt. A 15 year old boy pops up says, ālovely dogā after an EMP attack when things are bad, then acts like heās unconcerned about his family and happily takes up with a stranger. I donāt know of any 15 year old that talks / acts like that…
Seriously Wyatt is supposed to be an ex navy seal and his girlfriend thatās basically a soccer mom tells him how to be tactical. The author has no clue about military training.

first of all, very, very much unrealistic. SIX legs? come on. and the daughter, “Glory”, what an absolute brat. I kept hoping one of the “slicks” would rip that little brat to shreds.
Oftentimes, the best stories and characters are ones that stay with you long after the book is finished. This is certainly one of those books. I agree with other reviewers that it does start out a little clumsy but evolves into something much more powerful and long-lasting. Definitely worth listening to.
