This story is believable, good characters, lots of excitement and a good storyline. I liked it! Sometimes I can get bored with a series, but I was sorry to see it end.

the dead south series is absolutely great. it is definitely in my top ten reads.

The story was over all good but Megan is badly written. She’s deep in her feelings the whole time and constantly blaming herself for every bad thing that happens, gets old fast. after the second person she got killed she would be removed from any group that that wants to survive.

The stealth class, cunning strategy, and political navigation feels like a fresh take in Litrpg. MC is likeable, builds relationships, brain over brawn. World building is good, the story checks all the boxes with a fresh class and intuitive fighting style that isn’t weird, wild or over the top like other books.

Grace Hamilton never disappoints me with her books she gives you the perfect balance of character development and action. Highly recommend this series as well as her others. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
