The best I can say about this book is that I didn’t hate it. As stories go it was ok despite a general lacking of craft (the MC was pretty over the top with a lot of exposition slowing everything down). Fortunately I rather liked the MC and the narration made it fun to listen..
Loved story line and characters ! If ya like close to end of world and human race this is for you!

I liked the continuous goodness from the main character despite his darkness inside. What a good comradery between main character and his coworkers.
I really like this series last book him being in the dungeon for the entire book was OK but this book 2 books in a row in the dungeon kind of feels like a filler book. Draven’s reach is not worth two books. I’m really surprised by this because this is literally my favorite series..

There was quite a bit of world building in the first half but the second half was amazing. The elements and powers were beautiful. Adult themes and struggles. Great standalone but was upset to hear that there isn’t more coming… I will not read the YA series related to this.

Loved the story and the characters. No complaints about the narrator. The only annoying this is the author’s choice to give new random names to things that didn’t need any changes for emersion— days, minutes, hours, seconds… just why?
